The tenant should also indicate their preferred method of payment of the deposit and any information regarding the refund of the deposit; how and when it will be refunded; should also be included. Any deductions to be made should also be clearly cited and an inspection of the condition of the premises is mandatory in this case. The landlord should also specify how they want to receive the document i.e via email or even hand delivery with a signed acknowledgement.
